| Ajit Mookerjee -- Modern esotericists
owe a great deal to Mr. Mookerjee's excellent condensations and interpretations of the
Tantric materials. No question his books have to be a starting place. He does a good job
of presenting the ideas and methods of traditional and recent eastern Tantras, giving us
in the west a useful standard of comparison and a fertile source of ideas. And a lot of
fun to read at the same time. Ajit Mookerjee, (1915-1990), was a former Director of the National Crafts Museum in New Delhi, a Bengali whose art collections have been shown in museums around the world.

| Phillip Rawson -- An art historian with a
sympathetic cultural understanding of eastern spirituality his books taste like mind candy
but have a lot of hidden nutrition. Many valuable illustrations drawn directly from
Tantric texts and related cultural materials, sculptures, paintings, architecture. An excellent introduction to cultural Tantra. A surprisingly good read.
A good book!
