DEVELOPMENT Every great thing accomplished by a human
is accomplished through training.
If you are not training, if you are not doing exercises and
practices, you're standing still or more probably falling behind.
Why do I say it like that, an authoritarian assertion?
Because when I look back on my own 30 year history of self-development effort, one pattern
stands out clearly. When I did practices, even if I did them badly, I moved, I grew, and I
changed. When I wasn't doing exercises that deep inner transformation slowed, stopped, and
at times began to reverse. This has been my own personal experience with it, therefore, I
can't honestly suggest any other approach.
Do practices like your freedom depends upon it.
In this area I'm going to take a detailed practical look at
training, exercises, and practices. I'm going to try to explain how the exercises work,
and what their purposes are, that is, what are their benefits, why we are doing these
exercises. And I especially hope to be able to pass on some "tricks" that I've
picked up that ease the process of doing exercises.
